ETHICS POLICY
We give a f*ck about getting it right.
At FFS News, we're committed to ethical journalism. Our no-BS approach doesn't mean we play fast and loose with the facts. Here's what you can expect from us:
Our Ethical Standards
- Truth and Accuracy: We verify facts and correct errors promptly and transparently.
- Independence: We maintain strict separation between our editorial content and any financial considerations.
- Fairness and Impartiality: We present all sides of a story, even when we have strong opinions.
- Accountability: We're accountable to our readers. We welcome feedback and criticism.
- Transparency: We disclose our sources whenever possible and explain our reporting methods.
Conflicts of Interest
Our journalists avoid conflicts of interest and disclose any potential conflicts. We don't accept gifts, favors, or special treatment from sources or subjects of our reporting.
Corrections and Updates
When we f*ck up (because we're human and it happens), we own it. We correct errors promptly and transparently, explaining what was wrong and how we've fixed it.
Anonymous Sources
We use anonymous sources sparingly and only when necessary to report important information that can't be obtained any other way. We always explain why we've granted anonymity.
Diversity and Inclusion
We're committed to representing diverse voices and perspectives in our reporting and in our newsroom.
